Yuhltse is the High Priestess of the secretive order known as the Priests of Imlach. Nestled just beyond the northernmost ridges of the Bladeshale Mountains, this order lives and dies within the temples at Arahaz.
For centuries, the Priests of Imlach have been all but forgotten, struggling within Arahaz to reignite their devout connection to the Sleeping Darkness they call Imlach. The order once received wisdom from the Blood of the Veil, but after the world broke and the Blood of the Veil dwindled, they had almost nothing left.
Now, the forces of this world are shifting. Yuhltse prays and makes sacrifices to the Sleeping Darkness, leading the Priests of Imlach in their quest to regain the powers once wielded and cherished by their order.
She rouses her summoner acolytes from their complacent studies of the past, turning now to the rituals of true dark magic that has always been the order’s claim.
The powers of the Sleeping Darkness have awakened, and this High Priestess seeks to return the Priests of Imlach and Arahaz itself to their former glory. Yuhltse ascended to her role as High Priestess after the passing of her predecessor, Mabrek, and still, no one in her summoner order knows more than a whisper of the part she played in the man’s undoing. When Taltaz, the merchant of Gethlem, makes his next trek through the Bladeshales to deliver the Priests of Imlach their regular shipment, he brings with him a new ware—a thief captured and condemned in Gethlem for her crimes.
Yuhltse pays the man handsomely for the woman she means to make her handmaiden—her assistant—and finds much more in Rahlizje than the price she paid to own a thief.
Yultse is one of Kathrin Hutson’s creations and you can find her in The Summoner Thief.
She will be up for grabs again during the preorder period.
